We here at BBBS would like to wish you and your Little Merry Memories and a very Happy New Year! We have a lot of fun activities planned for 2016-more details will be included in each newsletter.

Did you know: January is National Mentoring month! We'll be kicking off a 30 Bigs in 30 Days campaign and we would love your help! No one can tell our story better than our Bigs. Please talk with friends, family and co-workers about becoming a mentor and impacting a child's life for the better, forever.

*Please note that the BBBS Office will be closed from December 24, 2015-January 1, 2016 for the holidays.

Sincerely,

Ashleigh Henrichs and Mandy Johnson

MATCH OF THE MONTH

Tom and Trenten

What does BBBS mean to you?
Tom - BBBS provides me with the opportunity and the tools to have a positive influence in a young person's life. BBBS helps me to be more than a bystander or commentator, they help me to make a difference.

Trenten - BBBS is a tremendous program that came into my life 5 years ago. It has allowed me to meet tons and tons of new people and most importantly my own Big Brother, Tom. Tom has come into my life and will forever be in it. BBBS means the world to me. If my mother had never put me in this program I would have never had the honor to meet so many people over the last 5 years that have left memories on me that I will never forget.

What do you like best about being a Big Brother/Little Brother?
Tom - Watching Trenten grow from a boy of 11 to a young man ready to face the world is priceless. I am proud to call him my brother.

Trenten- To me I believe the best thing of being a Little Brother is with your Big Brother you will always have a forever friend. Meeting Tom 5 years ago was the greatest gift anyone could have given me. As a Little Brother you will become more appreciative of all adults in your life. Now this is enough about my story... time for you to apply to become a BB/BS and create your own with a child that is on the waiting list and hoping to find a BB/BS.
